Golf carts will have to be permitted to be operated within the city limits of Royalton and Sunday liquor sales can now begin at 8 a.m. following action Tuesday by the Royalton City Council.

The golf cart issue came to light upon city officials learning permitting was required by the state and finding underage persons operating the vehicles in town.
